Ocon started 13th on the grid on soft tyres and would hold his position for the first half of the race. The veteran driver would take advantage of two mid-race safety cars and restarts to jump up the order during the chaos. He would lose one spot to Arvid Lindblad coming to the checkered flag, but still forge a solid P8 in Azerbaijan.

Impact The Haas F1 veteran would start 15th on the grid and hope to challenge for points in Hungary. Ocon would get off to a fast start and pick up three spots on the opening lap. However, holding onto that track position would prove tricky. Ocon would struggle with lack of pace and severe tyre degradation on his Haas machine. He would manage to keep Alex Albon behind him in the closing laps and finish at disappointing 16th-place in Budapest.

P16 at Red Bull Ring Ocon finished 16th in the Austrian Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg on Sunday afternoon.

Impact Despite a fast start and surging from P15 to P11 in the opening laps, Ocon would deal with a lack of downforce all day at the Red Bull Ring. The lack of downforce would exaggerate his tyre wear issues and that combined with poor pit strategy would doom Ocon to the rear of the field. Impact Ocon would start from the rear of the field due to his rear wing being found in violation of the regs after qualifying. It would be an uphill climb from there for the veteran Haas F1 driver. Ocon would take advantage of an early safety car for the Oscar Piastri crash to pit on lap 2 for fresh tyres. He would run the remainder of the grand prix on that set of hard tyres and stay out, promoting as others pitted mid-race. Ocon would lose a spot late to Oliver Bearman but still collect a reasonably good P14 by lap 51.
