Impact The Haas F1 veteran would roll off P17 after a tough qualifying session at the Belgian circuit. Ocon would have a lap 1 battle with Oliver Bearman and the two would make contact. That incident would result in a tyre puncture for both drivers and hamper Ocon's grand prix. An early-race safety car would help him to regain some lost ground but the best Ocon could manage by the checkered flag was a disappointing 17th-place.

Impact Ocon started 17th on the grid and had a great opening lap in which he would climb to 11th-place after several overtakes. He pitted on lap 21 under the VSC but it ended very quickly and Ocon got no advantage from it. Additionally, the stop would be slow due to a problem with the rear right tyre change. That would make retaking ground problematic but the Haas F1 veteran would claw his way up to P13 by the conclusion of the grand prix.

P16 at Red Bull Ring Ocon finished 16th in the Austrian Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg on Sunday afternoon.

Impact Despite a fast start and surging from P15 to P11 in the opening laps, Ocon would deal with a lack of downforce all day at the Red Bull Ring. The lack of downforce would exaggerate his tyre wear issues and that combined with poor pit strategy would doom Ocon to the rear of the field. The lack of pace would mean George Russell would lap him twice during the event and the Haas F1 veteran would finish a distant and disappointing 16th-place in Austria.

Secures Points in Japan Ocon finished 10th in the Japanese Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Suzuka Circuit on Sunday.

Impact Ocon would start from P12 on medium tyres and would climb as high as ninth-place by lap 6. Impact Ocon would line up P16 on the starting grid and he'd get around Yuki Tsunoda on the first lap.
