Crashes in Nashville Malukas crashed in the Borchetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix NTT IndyCar Series race at Nashville Superspeedway on Saturday, Bob Pockrass of Fox Sports reports.

Impact Malukas was forced into the wall while attempting to pass Louis Foster and had to be airlifted to a local hospital. The full extent of his injuries is still being determined, though he was released later Saturday after undergoing further testing.

Bad luck in Milwaukee Malukas finished eighth in the Snap-On Milwaukee Mile 250 IndyCar race on Sunday.

Impact Malukas was among the fastest cars throughout the weekend, qualifying second and nearly taking pole. He then held the lead for 25 laps, with only Alex Palou leading more. However, Malukas' day was undone by a tire gun failure that caused him to go a lap down early in the race. He managed to recover, but could have had an even better day.
