Third at Gateway Rasmussen finished third in the Bommarito Automotive Group 500 NTT IndyCar Series race at World Wide Technology Raceway on Sunday night.

Impact Rasmussen once again showed off his great oval racing talent. He would come from deep in the starting field at 19th on the grid to pick his way through the field. Rasmussen would lead just 5 laps for the night but he'd battle among the leaders for the second half of the race. He would hold off a spirited challenge down the stretch from Rinus VeeKay to earn the podium finish. It was Rasmussen's first podium of the season and third of his IndyCar career.
