Jed Lowrie - Multi-RBI effort in victory Lowrie went 1-for-3 with an RBI single, a bases-loaded walk and a run in a win over the Rangers on Sunday.

Impact Lowrie quickly erased an early 1-0 deficit with his first-inning single that plated Starling Marte, and he then showed off his plate discipline by drawing his free pass with the bases jammed in the fourth. The switch-hitting veteran has now reached safely in eight straight starts, although the gulf between his .429 on-base percentage and .346 slugging percentage during that span of 35 plate appearances confirms most of his success has been of the "small ball" variety.

Impact Murphy laced a first-inning two bagger that snapped a 1-1 tie by plating Josh Harrison and Jed Lowrie. Impact Canha pushed his on-base percentage back up to .386 with yet another busy day on the bases Sunday. Rare is the game that doesn't find Canha aboard at least once; the last time he failed to reach safely by either hit, walk or hit by pitch was June 24 against these same Rangers, a contest he exited after just two plate appearances due to a hip strain that subsequently landed him on the injured list.

Impact Marte singled, stole second and scored all in the first inning Sunday. He went on to add three more singles in the game and drove in Mark Canha in the sixth frame. The outfielder has been on fire since joining Oakland, batting .425. In addition, he has an impressive 10 stolen bases over his last 11 games. On the season, he is slashing .322/.413/.476 with nine home runs, 31 RBI and 60 runs in 318 plate appearances. Despite missing five weeks early in the season, his 29 steals are second-most in all of baseball behind Whit Merrifield's 30.

Impact Brown hit a solo shot off Jordan Lyles in the fourth inning to increase the Athletics' lead to three runs. It is his second game back with the team since replacing Ramon Laureano (suspension). Impact Kiner-Falefa tripled off James Kaprielian and scored in the sixth inning. In addition, he homered off Yusmeiro Petit in the eighth frame. It was his first long ball in 41 games with his last one coming June 19.
