Zach Cole - Smacks solo shot Saturday Cole went 1-for-3 with a solo home run during the Astros' 4-1 win over the Rangers on Saturday.

Impact Cole was responsible for the Astros' fourth and final run, when he clubbed a solo home run off Jacob deGrom in the fourth inning. It was Cole's third homer of the season, and the 25-year-old outfielder has gone 8-for-34 (.235) with seven RBI since being recalled from Triple-A Suger Land on May 4.

Christian Walker - Smacks homer off deGrom Walker went 1-for-3 with a solo home run during the Astros' 4-1 win over the Rangers on Saturday.

Impact Walker extended the Astros' lead to 3-1 in the fourth inning after belting a solo homer off Jacob deGrom. It was Walker's 11th home run of the season, which is tied for eighth-most in the American League and is second on the Astros behind Yordan Alvarez (15), the latter of whom also smacked a home run in Saturday's win. Impact All four of the Astros' runs Saturday came from solo home runs off Jacob deGrom, with Alvarez belting his homer in the first inning. It was his second home run in three games and 15th of the season, which is tied for third-most in the American League behind Munetaka Murakami (17) and Aaron Judge (16). Alvarez is slashing .322/.429/.649 with 31 RBI, 30 runs scored and a steal across 205 plate appearances this season.

Kai-Wei Teng - Tosses five scoreless frames in win Teng (2-3) earned the win against the Rangers on Saturday, allowing two hits and four walks while striking out seven across five scoreless innings.

Impact Teng opened his start on a strong note by striking out each of the first two batters he faced in the first inning. He allowed at least two baserunners in three of the next four frames but managed to keep the Rangers off the board and finished his night with 11 whiffs while tossing 46 strikes on 76 pitches (60.5 percent strike rate). Teng sits at a 2.61 ERA and 1.10 WHIP across 31 innings this season and is expected to be a part of the Astros' six-man rotation in the short term. He's slated to take on the Cubs in Chicago next weekend.

Joc Pederson - Reaches base three times Saturday Pederson went 1-for-3 with two walks and an RBI single during the Rangers' 4-1 loss to the Astros on Saturday.

Impact Pederson supplied the Rangers' lone run after his single in the seventh inning brought Jake Burger home. Pederson is up to 10 RBI on the season and is slashing .214/.333/.330 with three home runs and 13 runs scored in 126 plate appearances.

Jacob deGrom - Gives up four homers in loss DeGrom (3-2) took the loss against the Astros on Saturday, allowing four runs on five hits while striking out four across six innings. He did not issue a walk.

Impact It was an uncharacteristic night for deGrom, who gave up two solo home runs in both the first and fourth innings of Saturday's loss. It was the second time in 257 regular-season starts that the veteran right-hander gave up at least four home runs in a game, per Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle. DeGrom has yielded 10 home runs this season (tied for third-most in the American League) and has a 3.02 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 61:8 K:BB across 50.2 innings. His next start is lined up for next weekend on the road against the Angels.
