Franmil Reyes - Takes BP Reyes (hamstring) took batting practice on the field Wednesday prior to the Guardians' game against the Rangers, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

Impact Reyes looks to be progressing from the right hamstring injury that has kept him on the shelf since May 26, but the Guardians haven't yet offered up a target date for the 26-year-old's return to the lineup. According to Ryan Lewis of the Akron Beacon Journal, the Guardians plan to meet with Reyes on Friday to decide his next steps, so more clarity on his situation could come over the weekend.

Aaron Civale - Beginning rehab assignment Civale (glute) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Columbus on Thursday, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

Impact Civale sustained a glute injury in late May and required blood treatment, but he threw a side session Monday and will take another step in his recovery process by beginning a rehab assignment Thursday. The right-hander will throw three innings in Columbus during his first rehab start, and it's not yet clear whether he'll require multiple minor-league appearances prior to rejoining the Guardians.

Owen Miller - Takes seat Wednesday Miller is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rangers.

Impact Richie Palacios will enter the starting nine as a replacement for Miller, who had started every game since May 29. During that eight-game stretch, Miller managed only six hits in 30 at-bats (.200 average), but he drove in seven and scored six times.
