Impact The Rays were slated to face three righties this weekend, but they will still find opportunities for some of their right-handed bench bats. Harold Ramirez is starting at designated hitter against righty Hunter Brown. Raley is hitting .185 with zero home runs and a 32.4 percent strikeout rate in his last 10 games.

Josh Fleming - Works 2.1 innings Fleming (elbow) allowed two earned runs on five hits and a walk while striking out two across 2.1 innings in a rehab appearance with Triple-A Durham on Thursday.
Impact Fleming has been out since late May but has now made two rehab appearances. He threw 43 pitches in his latest outing and will still likely require a couple more appearances before potentially being activated. There is no formal timeline for Fleming's return, but a decision on his status will be required by mid-August.

Yandy Díaz - Still bothered by injury Diaz (groin) returned to the lineup Friday but said that he is still sore when he runs, swings and plays defense, MLB.com reports.
Impact Diaz missed only one full game with the injury and returned as the DH on Friday, when he went 0-for-3 with an RBI. Manager Kevin Cash hopes that Diaz will return to first base Saturday, but he also noted the injury will require management for the rest of the season. Diaz has been one of the Rays' better hitters this season, so the team certainly won't want to keep him out of the lineup, but his recovery may ultimately dictate extra days off down the stretch.

Impact Lowe is beginning to tap into his power again after he endured a power outage in his first couple weeks back from the injured list. He has two homers in his last three games, bringing him up to 12 on the season. The second baseman stole a base after being hit by a pitch in the sixth inning, his fifth steal this season, which sets him up to potentially establish a new career high in the category before season's end.
