Impact The 29-year-old closed out the first half of the season with another strong performance, though it's just the fifth time in 17 starts that he lasted fewer than six innings. The Rays were leading 8-2 when Eflin was lifted with just 77 pitches, and the club may have been opting to limit his workload given he hasn't thrown more than 105.2 frames in a season since 2019. The right-hander is in the midst of the best year of his career with a 3.25 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 105:15 K:BB through 102.1 innings.

Impact Margot had started in three of the Rays' last four games, but he went 0-for-12 during that stretch and is now slashing a lowly .248/.300/.358 over 233 plate appearances on the season. He appears to be no better than fourth on the depth chart in the outfield, with all of Randy Arozarena, Josh Lowe and Jose Siri slotting ahead of him in the pecking order for playing time.

Taj Bradley - Struggles again Saturday Bradley (5-5) took the loss against Atlanta on Saturday, allowing four runs on five hits and two walks while striking out four batters over five innings.

Impact Bradley made it through three perfect frames before surrendering four runs -- three of which came on a Sean Murphy homer -- in the fourth. Though he was able to complete another scoreless inning, the rough fourth was enough to send Bradley to his fifth loss. The rookie right-hander has hit a rough patch to close out the first half of the season, posting an 11.68 ERA, 2.11 WHIP and 9:4 K:BB across 12.1 frames over his past three starts. Bradley began his big-league career in fine fashion, but his recent struggles have him sitting on a poor 5.43 ERA and 1.39 WHIP over 61.1 frames heading into the All-Star break.
