Choo went 4-for-4 with a solo home run and a stolen base in a loss to Seattle on Saturday.
Impact
Choo notched four of the Rangers' 10 hits in the loss, including a solo shot to right field in the ninth inning. He also stole his sixth base of the season and registered his fifth multi-hit game. Despite the perfect night at the plate, the veteran is still hitting only .229 overall.

Homers in loss
Choo went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's 8-4 loss to Houston.
Impact
It wasn't a great overall day at the plate for Choo, as the 38-year-old struck out three times in the game. Nonetheless, he belted his fourth homer while picking up his 14th RBI on the season. He will take a .204/.292/.357 slash line into the weekend series against the Mariners.

Swipes bag in return
Choo went 1-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base in Wednesday's loss to the A's.
Impact
Making his first start since Aug. 19, Choo began the home half of the first inning with a strikeout, but he then singled and stole second base in the third. It was good to see Choo active on the basepaths after oblique and calf issues interrupted his season. Choo still has a lot of work to do to improve his slash line; hopefully the worst of his injury issues are behind him.

Injuries pile up but no IL
Texas manager Chris Woodward said Choo is also dealing with an oblique injury in addition to the known calf issue, T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com reports.
Impact
Choo was out of the lineup for a sixth straight game Tuesday. Woodward said the oblique injury is a bigger concern than the calf, but the Rangers are holding off on putting him on the injured list. "We thought about it," Woodward said. "And I think if he's going to miss another couple days, it probably makes sense to do that. But with these series, we'd like to have him available, even if it is only for one or two games. It was worth having him miss six or seven days at least so he could play in the last three." That sounds like the Rangers want him available so that they can shop him at the trade deadline, but Choo, who becomes a free agent in the offseason, has 10-and-5 trade veto rights.
