Impact After opening the series 0-for-7 in the first two games -- which snapped his 14-game hitting streak -- Jung got back on track with a solid showing Sunday. The third baseman has multiple hits in eight of his last 17 contests. The 25-year-old has a near-everyday role in a strong offense, putting him on track to continue his breakout campaign.

Impact Heim opened the scoring with a two-run single in the first inning and closed out the Rangers' offense with a three-run blast in the sixth. The catcher is hot with four multi-hit efforts and 13 RBI during his active eight-game hitting streak, during which he's gone 12-for-30 (.400). Impact This was Seager's fifth multi-hit effort in his last six games, a span in which he's gone 11-for-27 (.407) with five extra-base hits and 10 RBI. The shortstop's surge has him up to a .349/.405/.623 slash line, six homers, 29 RBI, 21 runs scored and 11 doubles through 27 contests. He's positioned to keep putting up big numbers as the No. 2 hitter for the best offense in the majors.

Nathan Eovaldi - Cruises to eighth win Eovaldi (8-2) allowed one hit and struck out seven over six scoreless innings to earn the win Sunday over the Mariners.

Impact Eovaldi was given plenty of support early on and left with a 12-0 lead after six dominant frames. This was the right-hander's fifth scoreless outing of the season, all of which have come in his last seven starts. He's won six times in that span. Eovaldi is at a 2.24 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 77:14 K:BB through 80.1 innings over 12 appearances this season, cementing himself as one of the top pitchers in 2023. His next start is projected to be a tough one on the road versus the Rays.

Bryce Miller - Lit up Sunday Miller (3-3) allowed seven runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out two over 2.1 innings, taking the loss Sunday versus the Mariners.

Impact Miller has now given up 15 runs over his last seven innings spanning two starts. The Rangers were able to pick him apart in the third inning, when he allowed a home run, three doubles and two singles before Gabe Speier worked out of trouble. It's tough to read too much into Miller's sudden struggles -- he's taken care of weaker opponents, but the Yankees and the Rangers are both top-10 offenses for run scoring. The right-hander is now at a 4.46 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 33:5 K:BB through 38.1 innings over seven starts. He's projected for a weekend road start versus the Angels in his next outing.
