Impact Manaea's season got off to a bit of a rough start, but he's since rebounded and has picked up wins in each of his last three outings. The southpaw got into a jam in the third inning Saturday when the Padres loaded the bases with one out, but he only allowed one run to come across. He has a 5.09 ERA and 1.36 WHIP over 35.1 innings this season. Manaea will carry his winning streak into his next start at home Thursday against the Astros.

Impact Manaea was solid in Tuesday's game, and he can't be blamed for Marcus Semien's fifth-inning error that indirectly led to a pair of runs for the Rangers. It's the third straight start where Manaea has allowed three runs or fewer after failing to do that in his first four starts of the year. Impact Manaea allowed three or more runs in each of his first four starts of the season, but he is beginning to trend in the right direction of late -- he has pitched at least five innings in his past two outings, allowing four runs (three earned) in 10.1 innings during that two-game stretch. It's still far from convincing and well below Manaea's usual numbers, but the encouraging signs are noticeable. His next start is scheduled for Aug. 25 on the road against the Rangers.
