Impact It was a tough way to end the year for Manaea, who'd given up just four earned runs across 11.1 innings while striking out 11 in his previous two outings. The veteran left-hander will finish with a 4.78 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 144:44 K:BB across 150.2 innings this season. Manaea is under contract with the Mets again in 2027, though it remains to be seen whether or not he'll remain in the starting rotation.

He kept the Rangers scoreless over his final two innings, and New York's three-run sixth turned a 3-2 deficit into a 5-3 lead, allowing him to earn the win. Manaea matched his season high with nine strikeouts and lowered his ERA to 4.67. This outing also snapped a run of four consecutive non-quality starts.

No-decision Tuesday Manaea didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Orioles after allowing two runs on four hits while striking out six over 5.1 innings.

Impact Manaea surrendered solo homers to Christian Encarnacion-Strand and Jeremiah Jackson in the second inning but otherwise kept the Orioles quiet. More encouragingly, he didn't issue a walk for a second straight start and has done a good job limiting free passes of late with just two walks in his last four starts and 21.2 innings. Manaea owns a 5.36 ERA since the beginning of August, and this was the first time since Aug. 9 he didn't allow more than four runs in a single start. He's tabbed to make his next start against the Phillies this weekend.

Impact Manaea was in complete control for most of Tuesday's start, retiring the first 15 batters he faced while being handed a 6-0 lead by his Mets teammates. However, the right-hander's night took a turn for the worse in the sixth, when he allowed a hit to each of the first five batters he faced while being tagged for four runs. Luckily for Manaea, he received enough run support to come away with his fifth win of the season and third since the All-Star break. He's allowed at least four runs in each of his last five outings, and he'll take a 4.79 ERA and 1.34 WHIP over 133.1 innings into his next start, tentatively slated for next week at home against the Orioles.

Manaea's midseason resurgence seems to have petered out -- he's been tagged for at least four earned runs in four straight trips to the mound, sagging to a 7.23 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 16:6 K:BB over 23.2 innings during that stretch. He'll try to turn things around in his next start, which lines up to come on the road early next week in Miami.

The left-hander coughed up a season-high-tying six runs, and he even gave up a season-worst eight knocks (three extra-base hits). He'll look to bounce back in his next scheduled appearance against the Rays in pitcher-friendly Tampa Bay, where Manaea will carry a 4.55 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 120:40 K:BB over 122.2 innings

Impact Manaea cruised through five scoreless innings with a 4-0 lead before Chicago erased it in dramatic fashion. After a leadoff walk to Munetaka Murakami, the left-hander surrendered three consecutive home runs to Miguel Vargas, Randal Grichuk and Colson Montgomery to tie the game. Manaea still completed six innings, but he's now allowed four runs in consecutive starts, raising his ERA to 4.31. He's completed at least six frames in six straight outings, though Friday's sudden collapse spoiled what had been an excellent performance. He's scheduled to make his next start at home against the Brewers.
