Impact The 31-year-old has now logged 2.1 scoreless innings over the three appearances he's already logged since being recalled from Triple-A Durham on July 25, and he has four straight scoreless efforts at the big-league level overall this season. Sherriff's bloated 6.14 ERA and 1.77 WHIP is largely the result of one very poor outing against the Nationals back on June 30, but he's otherwise proven a reliable left-handed option out of the bullpen.
