Back in action Friday
Acuna (back) is starting in right field and batting leadoff Friday against the Reds.
Impact
The 23-year-old was held out of the starting nine the past two days with tightness in his lower back, but he'll return to action Friday in Cincinnati. Acuna is 3-for-18 with eight strikeouts in his past seven appearances, though he still has a .903 OPS with two homers, a double, three walks and a stolen base.

Sitting again Thursday
Acuna (back) will be out of the lineup Thursday against the Reds, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.
Impact
Acuna was scratched from Wednesday's starting nine with lower-back tightness, and he'll sit for the second consecutive day due to the issue. He could return to action Friday if the injury shows some improvement. Ehire Adrianza started in his place Wednesday and could receive another look in right field for the series opener at Cincinnati.

Supplies only offense again
Acuna went 2-for-4 with a double and a solo home run in a 1-0 win over the Mets during the second game of Monday's doubleheader.
Impact
His fifth-inning blast off Miguel Castro gave Acuna 20 homers on the season. It was also the second straight day in which he supplied the only offense in a game, as Acuna went deep in a 1-0 win during the nightcap of Sunday's twin bill against the Cardinals. The 23-year-old superstar is slashing .309/.448/.603 through 20 contests in June with four home runs, nine steals, 12 RBI and 19 runs.

Clubs decisive homer
Acuna went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and a walk in a 1-0 win in Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader with St. Louis.
Impact
Acuna's third inning homer to center was the only run in the game and proved to be all the support Atlanta starter Drew Smyly would need. The blast was Acuna's first since June 8 and was his 19th on the season, which puts him alone in fifth place in the majors.

Drives in one, swipes bag
Acuna went 1-for-2 with an RBI, a run scored, a walk and a stolen base in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Cardinals.
Impact
Acuna marked up the scoresheet Thursday, driving in one while also stealing a base and scoring. It was his third stolen base this past week, giving him a total of 14 on the season, enough for third-best in all of baseball. The 23-year-old's speed is just an added bonus on top of his .294/.398/.605 slash line and 18 home runs. He trails only Fernando Tatis in home runs plus steals. Acuna is riding a current 25-game streak of reaching base safely.
