Bryse Wilson - Decent in loss Wilson (2-5) allowed three runs on six hits and a walk with seven strikeouts in six innings, taking the loss Sunday versus Cincinnati.

Impact Wilson has yielded four runs across 11 innings since he joined Pittsburgh at the trade deadline. The right-hander was fine Sunday outside of a three-run fourth inning, and the seven strikeouts were a season high. He's posted a 5.24 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 30:15 K:BB across 44.2 innings overall. Pittsburgh's not exactly brimming with talent in the rotation, so Wilson could remain in a starting role, which would have him in line to face Milwaukee next weekend.

Tyler Stephenson - Doubles in return Stephenson (hamstring) went 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 3-2 win over Pittsburgh.

Impact The catcher's scoring contributions came in the fourth inning when he drove in a run on a fielder's choice and scored on a Kyle Farmer double. Stephenson missed two games with the hamstring injury, but he should go back to splitting time with Tucker Barnhart behind the plate. Through 281 plate appearances, Stephenson has a .282/.370/.419 slash line, six home runs, 34 RBI, 44 runs scored and 15 doubles.

Impact The right-hander has posted saves in each of his last two appearances, and his scoreless streak is up to nine innings. Despite a 1.23 WHIP, one of the highest of his career, Givens has pitched to a 2.27 ERA across 35.2 innings between Colorado and Cincinnati this season. Impact After a shaky five-inning effort against Minnesota on Tuesday, Mahle rebounded with his longest start since June 5. The 10 strikeouts also accounted for his second-highest total of the year. The right-hander has a 3.78 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 148:45 K:BB through 123.2 innings this season. He's projected to make his next start In Philadelphia.
