Greg Deichmann - Outrighted to Triple-A Deichmann cleared waivers and was ourgithed to Triple-A Iowa on Friday, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Impact Deichmann was cast off the 40-man roster Saturday, but he'll remain in the organization. In eight appearances in Iowa this year, he's hit .207 with a double, three RBI, a run and a steal.

Alfonso Rivas - Rejoins major-league club Rivas was recalled from Triple-A Iowa on Friday, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Impact Rivas spent just under a week in the minors, but he'll now rejoin the Cubs after Clint Frazier (appendicitis) was placed on the 10-day injured list Friday. Rivas has appeared in two major-league games this year and has gone 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI. He'll serve in a depth role while Frazier is unavailable.
