Impact Martinez has earned his first two MLB saves in his last two appearances, both of the three-inning variety. While the right-hander's return stateside hasn't been overly impressive from a statistical standpoint, he can spot start for the club and mop up where necessary. The volume and team context keep him relevant in some deeper formats.

Impact Martinez struggled with baserunners all game, putting multiple Rockies on in four of his five frames, but was able to escape with a no-decision as opposing starter German Marquez was equally mediocre. The one strikeout on five swinging strikes was a big disappointment as Martinez had averaged nearly six strikeouts per start over his last six turns. It's unclear if the 31-year-old will get another start soon as San Diego's vaunted rotation is finally fully healthy.

The late change didn't seem to bother Martinez at all, as he fell one out shy of a quality start and struck out a season-high nine batters. The right-hander didn't allow a run until the sixth inning, when Brendan Rodgers doubled home Charlie Blackmon to register the Rockies' only run of the game.
