William Contreras - Scores four times in win Contreras went 3-for-4 with a walk, a double and four runs scored in Wednesday's 9-5 win over Cleveland.
Impact The 27-year-old backstop entered the contest in a 1-for-16 slump but ended up serving as a table-setter out of the cleanup spot Wednesday, as Rhys Hoskins drove in five runs out of the No. 6 hole. It's the fourth four-hit performance of Contreras' career and the first time he's tallied more than two hits in a game this season. He was struggling through 11 games in May prior to Wednesday's showing, having gone 5-for-39 (.128 average) with 12 strikeouts.

Gavin Williams - Nice showing in no-decision Williams did not factor into the decision Wednesday, giving up two runs on four hits and one walk over five innings in a 9-5 loss to the Brewers. He struck out six.
Impact The right-hander allowed a run on two hits and a walk during the second inning and a solo homer in the fifth, but he was otherwise able to keep Milwaukee in check. Williams has surrendered just two runs with a 14:5 K:BB in his past two starts, but he covered five frames in both outings and hasn't pitched into the sixth inning since April 21. He has a 4.29 ERA and 1.64 WHIP through nine starts this year and lines up to face the Twins on the road early next week.

Eddie Rosario - Lands with Brewers Rosario signed a minor-league contract with the Brewers on Wednesday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Impact Rosario became a free agent Sunday after being pushed off Atlanta's 40-man roster, and he'll now attempt to work his way back into the majors with Milwaukee. The 33-year-old outfielder is 1-for-8 in three MLB games this season but has slashed an impressive .339/.406/.542 in Triple-A.

José Ramírez - Clubs three-run homer Ramirez went 1-for-3 with a walk, a three-run homer and an additional scored in Wednesday's 9-5 loss against the Brewers.
Impact The 32-year-old launched a three-run shot to center field during the eighth inning to cut into a 7-2 deficit, but Cleveland was unable to rally any further. It was Ramirez's second homer in as many days, which brings his total to eight for the season. In addition to the long balls, the third baseman continues to be one of the most productive hitters in the league with 12 steals and a .295/.363/.510 slash line through 41 games.

Rhys Hoskins - Homers, drives in five runs Hoskins went 4-for-4 with a walk, a double, a home run, five RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's 9-5 victory over the Guardians.
Impact The first baseman launched a two-run homer during the seventh inning and also delivered run-scoring singles in the sixth and nine frames to match Cleveland's run production by himself. Hoskins went 0-for-3 to snap a modest seven-game hit streak Tuesday, but he's gone 14-for-45 (.311 average) with five doubles, two homers, 11 RBI and five runs through 13 contests in May, which has boosted his OPS for the season to .858.
