Nashville has a scheduled day off Wednesday, and Adames is expected to be back on the field for Thursday's contest, so the injury doesn't appear to be a serious concern.

Adrian Sampson - Back with Cubs organizationSampson re-signed Tuesday with the Cubs on a minor-league deal and was assigned to Triple-A Iowa, Tommy Birch of The Des Moines Register reports.
ImpactSampson previously signed with the Cubs in March and made a one-inning appearance out of the bullpen May 8 when he was called up from the minors. He was designated for assignment and claimed off waivers by the Mariners just a few days later, but his stay in the Seattle organization lasted just under two weeks before he elected free agency. He'll now rejoin the Cubs and will serve as organizational starting depth at Iowa.

Rafael Ortega - Sits against leftyOrtega is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Brewers.
ImpactThe lefty-hitting Ortega will be on the bench for the second straight game, with his benching Tuesday coming with a southpaw (Eric Lauer) on the hill for the opposition. Clint Frazier will draw the start in right field Tuesday, but both he and Ortega could see their opportunities take a hit if Jason Heyward (illness) is cleared to return from the COVID-19-related injured list in the near future.
