Pat Murphy Gives Good News Update On Injured Brewers Pitchers The Brewers have several pitchers getting closer to returning.
Oliver Dunn - On bench against lefty Dunn is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Tigers.
Impact With lefty Tarik Skubal on the bump for Detroit, the left-handed-hitting Dunn will give way to platoon mate Vinny Capra at third base. Dunn has logged 28 of his 34 plate appearances against right-handed pitching this season, but he's still slashing an underwhelming .194/.212/.258 while striking out at 23.5 percent clip.

Blake Perkins - Running on ultra-gravity treadmill Perkins (shin) has been running at 70 percent of his body weight on an ultra-gravity treadmill and will be re-evaluated Friday, Jack Stern of BrewerFanatic.com reports.
Impact Assuming he checks out well Friday, Perkins should be cleared to advance to the next step in his rehab, although it's not clear exactly what that would be. Out since late February with a fractured right shin, Perkins is still tentatively expected to be ready for his season debut sometime in May.

Aaron Ashby - Throwing bullpen session Tuesday Brewers manager Pat Murphy said Monday that Ashby (oblique) will throw a bullpen session Tuesday, Jack Stern of BrewerFanatic.com reports.
Impact The lefty will then progress to live batting practice sessions and then pitching in extended spring training games. Assuming that all goes well, Ashby should then be ready for a rehab assignment. The southpaw has been out since early March with a right oblique strain.

Tobias Myers - On track for season debut next week Myers (oblique) will make his third and likely final rehab start Friday at Triple-A Nashville, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Impact Myers is projected to throw 65-to-70 pitch Friday and, assuming he comes out of the start with no hiccups, is expected to rejoin the Brewers' rotation next week in San Francisco. The right-hander has been working his way back from a left oblique strain, which he suffered in mid-March.
