Goes seven innings in win Soroka (4-0) allowed two runs on five hits and struck out five without walking a batter over seven innings to earn the win Friday over the Blue Jays.
Impact Soroka had his longest outing of the season so far, throwing 67 of 94 pitches for strikes. The 28-year-old gave up a solo home run to light-hitting Myles Straw in the sixth inning but still had enough in the tank to finish strong. Soroka's start to his Arizona tenure couldn't be going much better -- he's at a 2.78 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 28:6 K:BB over 22.2 innings across four starts. He'll look to keep rolling next week in a start projected to come against the White Sox, one of his former teams.

Joins elite company Friday Soroka (3-0) picked up the win Friday, giving up four runs on five hits and two walks over 5.2 innings in a 5-4 victory over the Phillies. He struck out 10.
Impact Things looked bleak for the right-hander when he got tagged for four runs in the first inning, with most of the damage coming on a three-run blast by Brandon Marsh, but Soroka buckled down and gave his offense a chance to rally, finally getting lifted after 93 pitches (61 strikes). In the process, he became just the second pitcher in Arizona history to strike out double-digit batters in two of his first three starts for the team -- with Hall of Famer Randy Johnson having been the first to do it, per Sarah Langs of MLB.com. Soroka will take a 2.87 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 23:6 K:BB through 15.2 innings into his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home next weekend against the Blue Jays.

Earns second win of season Soroka (2-0) earned the win Saturday against Atlanta after tossing five innings of one-run ball, allowing four hits and three walks while fanning three.
Impact Soroka went five innings once again, and while he didn't repeat the same numbers he posted in his previous start when he fanned 10 against the Tigers, he did just enough to secure his second win of the season. Through two starts and 10 innings, Soroka has allowed just one run while posting a 13:4 K:BB. His next start is scheduled for the upcoming weekend on the road against Philadelphia.

Dominant in first start Soroka (1-0) earned the win over Detroit on Monday, allowing four hits and issuing one walk while striking out 10 batters over five scoreless innings.
Impact Soroka dazzled throughout the start, racking up 12 whiffs and even recording the first immaculate inning of the 2026 campaign in his fifth and final frame. The right-hander was rolling at the time he was pulled, retiring eight straight batters (including six by strikeout), but Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo opted not to push the hurler any further after he reached 89 pitches. Soroka has struggled with injuries for much of his career and hasn't reached 100 big-league innings since 2019, so it's reasonable for Arizona to be cautious with his pitch counts. With that being said, Soroka averaged over a strikeout per frame each of the past two campaigns (during which he was deployed as both a starter and reliever), and Monday's outing makes him an intriguing option for fantasy managers in need of starting pitching.

Shines in Cactus League return Soroka allowed one hit and one walk while striking out eight over five scoreless innings in Thursday's spring start against the White Sox.
Impact Soroka dazzled in his first game back from a stint with Team Canada in the World Baseball Classic. The right-hander threw 70 pitches (48 strikes) and will get one more spring start next Tuesday against the Guardians, Arizona's final preseason game. With Merrill Kelly (back) slated to begin the season on the injured list, Soroka will open the regular season as part of the team's five-man rotation.

Starts Canada's WBC debut Soroka allowed one run on four hits and one walk while striking out two over three innings in Team Canada's win over Columbia on Saturday at the World Baseball Classic.
Impact Soroka was on the mound for Team Canada's first game of the WBC. The right-hander threw 54 pitches (30 strikes), touching 97 mph and averaging 94.7 with his four-seamer, which averaged 93.6 in 2025. He was signed by the Diamondbacks for starting depth but could also throw out of the bullpen. Soroka's exact role to start the season will be determined by whether Merrill Kelly (back) can avoid a stint on the injured list. Kelly recently threw a bullpen and is set to throw live batting practice Sunday.
MARCH 8 • ROTOWIRE
Final start before WBC Soroka allowed three runs on four hits and three walks while striking out one over 1.2 innings in Sunday's spring start against the Guardians.
Impact Soroka was on the bump for the second time in the Cactus League and lamented to Jose M. Romero of the Arizona Republic that he was trying to be too perfect with his pitches. That is evidenced by the 25 balls he through among his 47 pitches. This was Soroka's final outing before leaving camp for the World Baseball Classic, where the right-hander will participate for Team Canada. His eventual role for Arizona -- starter or reliever -- depends on the health of Merrill Kelly (back).

Makes spring debut Soroka allowed one run on two hits and one walk while striking out three over two innings in Tuesday's spring start against the Rangers.
Impact Soroka made his spring debut, throwing 33 pitches (24 strikes). He had a little trouble in the first inning but settled in for a perfect second frame. With six MLB-experienced starters in camp, there was talk of Soroka moving to the bullpen, but a recent injury to Merrill Kelly (back) cut into the Diamondbacks' surplus in the rotation.
