Impact Andujar put in a full game's worth of plate appearances at designated hitter, and he's apparently set to spend at least a few more days with Las Vegas before activation is considered. The veteran has played four games with the Aviators so far, hitting .357 (5-for-14) with three doubles, five RBI, Wednesday's walk and a run. However, he's only played defense in one of those contests, logging six innings in left field against El Paso on Saturday.

Beginning assignment Thursday Andujar (knee) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Las Vegas on Thursday, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Impact Andujar has been going through workouts with the Aviators over the past few days, and he is now scheduled to get back into game action soon. The A's haven't indicated how long they intend on keeping the 29-year-old in the minors, but he will likely need to see a good amount of at-bats after spending the past two months recovering from knee surgery.
