Bryan Reynolds - Should return Monday Reynolds (oblique) expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list ahead of Monday's game against the Cubs, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Impact Reynolds landed on the injured list July 11 with a strained right oblique, but he'll end up being sidelined only a couple weeks by the injury. The 27-year-old could also be a trade piece for the Pirates, though he'd be costly to acquire since he remains under team control through 2025. Reynolds has a .261/.343/.465 slash line with 15 home runs, 32 RBI, 40 runs and three stolen bases in 83 games this year.

Huascar Brazoban - Promoted Sunday Brazoban had his contract selected by the Marlins on Sunday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Impact Brazoban has a 3.18 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 59:16 K:BB across 45.1 innings for Triple-A Jacksonville this year, and he'll now receive his first look in the majors. The 32-year-old should fill a low-leverage role while up with the Marlins.

Cody Poteet - Shifts to 60-day IL Poteet (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Sunday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Impact Poteet landed on the shelf with elbow inflammation Friday, and he'll now be sidelined until late September, if not the rest of the season. The right-hander has a 3.86 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 21:11 K:BB across 28 innings this year.
