Avisaíl García - Nabs steal in loss Garcia went 2-for-4 with a double and a stolen base in a 3-1 loss to the Dodgers in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader.
Impact Garcia wasn't in the lineup for the matinee, but he played the full nightcap in left field with Bryan De La Cruz sitting versus southpaw Julio Urias. The steal was Garcia's second of the year. The veteran outfielder has been mostly limited to a short-side platoon role since returning from a back injury in late July. He's slashing just .190/.248/.324 with three home runs, 11 RBI, eight runs scored and three doubles over 113 plate appearances this season.

Impact Burger was solid at the plate, collecting four of the Marlins' 13 hits between the two games. The third baseman extended his hitting streak to 11 games, a span in which he's gone 19-for-43 (.442) with six extra-base hits and nine RBI. He's at a .240/.305/.528 slash line with 27 home runs, 63 RBI, 52 runs scored and a stolen base through 105 contests between the Marlins and the White Sox this year. Josh Bell - Goes yard in nightcap Bell went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a 3-1 loss to the Dodgers in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader.
Impact Bell also went 1-for-4 in the matinee. He's been nothing short of excellent since he was traded from Cleveland to Miami at the deadline, batting .288 with six homers, 11 RBI and 13 runs scored over 16 contests with his new team. Overall, Bell has a .242/.324/.419 slash line with 17 homers, 59 RBI, 39 runs scored and 22 doubles through 114 games this season.

Braxton Garrett - Handed fourth loss Garrett (7-4) allowed three runs on five hits and struck out six without walking a batter over six innings, taking the loss in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader versus the Dodgers.
Impact Garrett pitched well enough for a quality start, but a pair of solo home runs to Mookie Betts ended up being the difference. Garrett has given up nine runs (eight earned) across 28 innings over his last five starts, though he hasn't struck out more than six in any start in that span. For the season, he's maintained a 3.94 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 132:21 K:BB through 128 innings. He's lined up for a favorable home start versus the Nationals his next time out.
