Oscar Colás - Lands with Halos Colas agreed Sunday with the Angels on a minor-league contract, Francys Romero of BeisbolFR.com reports.
Impact Once Colas passes a physical, he's expected to report to the Angels' Double-A affiliate in Rocket City. After signing with the White Sox in January 2022 as an international free agent out of Cuba, Colas quickly emerged as one of the organization's top prospects. He never delivered on his potential, however, amassing a .223/.271/.309 slash line across 301 plate appearances over 88 games in Chicago between the 2023 and 2024 seasons before he was removed from the 40-man roster in late March. The 26-year-old outfielder had continued to languish in the minors before the White Sox released him Saturday, as he turned in a .500 OPS in 29 games between Triple-A Charlotte and Double-A Birmingham this season.

Otto Lopez - Swipes fifth bag Lopez went 1-for-4 with a steal and a run scored in Sunday's 3-0 victory over the Angels.
Impact The 26-year-old drew his fourth consecutive start at shortstop and stole second off Los Angeles starter Kyle Hendricks in the fourth. After popping a homer in his return from an ankle injury May 18, Lopez has been cold, batting .167 (3-for-18) across five games but has notched a pair of steals. Through 145 total plate appearances, Lopez is slashing .221/.297/.328 with three homers, 18 runs scored and 15 RBI while going 5-for-7 on steal attempts.

Ronny Henriquez - Converts first save Henriquez earned the save in Sunday's 3-0 win against the Angels, striking out two in a clean inning.
Impact The 24-year-old right-hander required only 10 pitches to secure the first save of his career. After picking up the win in Saturday's contest against the Angels, Henriquez looks to have entered the picture for high-leverage work in backend of the Miami bullpen along with Anthony Bender, Calvin Faucher and Jesus Tinoco. Henriquez has pitched to a 1.78 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 35:13 K:BB across 25.1 innings this season.
