Great American Ball Park, Cincinnati, OH
Nick Lodolo - Perfect inning in return Lodolo (shoulder) struck out the side in a perfect inning in his start Sunday for Triple-A Louisville.
Impact Since Lodolo had been out of action for nearly two weeks with a sore left shoulder, his workload was capped in his return to the Louisville rotation. Even though he was limited Sunday, Lodolo was still mightily impressive in the outing, pumping in all 11 of his pitches for strikes while facing the minimum. He'll likely have a longer leash the next time his turn in the rotation comes up, though Lodolo shouldn't be expected to work more than 3-to-4 frames.

Tejay Antone - On track for Tuesday return Antone (forearm) remains in line to return from the 10-day injured list ahead of Tuesday's series opener in Milwaukee, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Impact Antone made what's expected to be his seventh and final rehab appearance at Triple-A Louisville on Sunday, striking out two of the three batters he faced in a perfect inning. The right-hander should immediately reclaim a high-leverage role in the Cincinnati bullpen, though Mychal Givens appears to be manager David Bell's preferred option in save situations at the moment.

Jazz Chisholm Jr. - Swipes bag Sunday Chisholm went 0-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 3-1 loss to Cincinnati.
Impact The second baseman got aboard on a fielder's choice and stole second before scoring on a Jesus Sanchez double for Miami's lone run. Chisholm is back to being a threat with his legs -- he's notched two steals in his last three games after going 0-for-2 on the basepaths in his first 19 contests after the All-Star break. The 23-year-old owns a .255/.316/.438 slash line with 14 home runs, 13 stolen bases, 43 RBI and 49 runs scored through 355 plate appearances.

Sandy Alcantara - Excellent in tough loss Alcantara (7-12) took the loss Sunday versus Cincinnati. He allowed two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out 11 in seven innings.
Impact After giving up a 10-spot at Coors Field on Aug. 6, Alcantara has come back dominant. He's yielded just three runs across his last 22 innings while dialing up 25 strikeouts, but he has a 1-2 record to show for that impressive stretch of pitching. While Miami's offense isn't likely to provide a lot of help, Alcantara likely deserves a few more wins than the seven he's earned in 26 starts. He takes a 3.35 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 146:46 K:BB across 158.1 innings into his next start, projected for a rematch with Cincinnati next weekend.

Mike Moustakas - Ends skid with homer Moustakas went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and two strikeouts in Sunday's 3-1 win over Miami.
Impact The infielder's skid extended to 0-for-24 before his fifth-inning solo shot in Sunday's contest. Moustakas has had a brutal season with five homers, 16 RBI, 18 runs scored and eight doubles while slashing .206/.309/.389 through 149 plate appearances. While he has a 12.1 percent walk rate and a 22.1 percent strikeout rate this year, he hasn't been able to make enough contact in 13 games since he returned from a heel injury. Moustakas is currently in a platoon with the similarly struggling Eugenio Suarez at third base.

Tyler Naquin - Pops pair of solo shots Naquin went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs in Sunday's 3-1 win over Miami.
Impact The outfielder got Cincinnati off to a hot start by leading off the bottom of the first inning with his first homer. He added another in the eighth as an insurance run. Naquin continues to extend his career-best homer total, which is now at 18 through 112 games. He's added a .268/.333/.482 slash line, 66 RBI, 49 runs scored and five stolen bases in 405 plate appearances. He's been even better lately, going 21-for-46 (.457) with five long balls, nine RBI and 13 runs scored during a 12-game hitting streak.
AUGUST 22, 2021 ROTOWIRE
Michael Lorenzen - Logs third save Lorenzen walked one in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Sunday's 3-1 win over Miami.
Impact Lorenzen has now converted saves on consecutive days. The 29-year-old has yet to give up a run this season while scattering six hits and seven walks across 13.1 innings. He's added five holds in 12 appearances, so it's clear that manager David Bell trusts Lorenzen in the late innings, whether as a closer or a setup man.
