Seth Beer - Sent outright to Triple-A Beer was sent outright to Triple-A Reno by Arizona on Tuesday.
Impact Beer was designated for assignment to open up room on the 40-man roster for Brandon Pfaadt. In 79 plate appearances with the Triple-A Aces, Beer has slashed just .200/.266/.314. The former first-round pick will just be a depth option for the rest of the 2023 campaign.

Jean Segura - Out of lineup amid slump Segura is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Diamondbacks, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Impact Segura went 0-for-3 with three strikeouts before getting ejected from Monday's series opener versus Arizona. He's batting just .186/.233/.212 through 33 games (121 plate appearances) this season with Miami. Jon Berti will handle third base and bat ninth Tuesday.

Alek Thomas - Out of lineup versus lefty Thomas remains out of the lineup Tuesday against the Marlins.
Impact Thomas hasn't appeared in the Diamondbacks' starting lineup since Saturday and he will take a seat again Tuesday with left-hander Jesus Luzardo toeing the slab for Miami. Thomas has tallied only one hit -- a single -- in 34 plate appearances this year versus southpaws.
