Records quality start in no-decision Stroman allowed two runs on seven hits and one walk with five strikeouts through six innings, taking a no-decision in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Nationals.
Impact Stroman loaded the bases in the first and allowed two runs to score in the second but settled in to allow just two singles in the remaining four innings of his outing. The effort was enough to extend his quality start streak to three straight appearances. Hopefully this bodes well for his next start, which is tentatively slated to be against these same Nationals on Friday.

Impact New York scored three in the first of Los Angeles' starter David Price and that would prove to be all the support Stroman needed on the day. The 30-year-old retired 15 of 17 batters faced outside of the fourth inning, the frame during which Stroman permitted both runs and four total baserunners. He's now recorded a decision in nine straight starts, a stretch that's seen Stroman go 3-6.

Impact Stroman might have been tagged with his 12th loss of the campaign, but he delivered a strong performance on the mound en route to posting a season-high nine strikeouts. Stroman has now given up three runs or fewer in all but one of his last 17 starts and owns a 2.90 ERA during that impressive stretch, a span in which he's also posted eight quality starts.
