Freddie Freeman's agency situation remains 'fluid,' but the Dodger is ready to move on "I'm happy to be a Dodger. That's where my focus lies," Freeman said Tuesday.

Jake Lamb - Contract selected Lamb had his contract selected by the Dodgers on Tuesday.
Impact Lamb joined Los Angeles on a minor-league deal in March and reported to Triple-A Oklahoma City after failing to make the Opening Day roster. The 31-year-old has a .290/.395/.537 slash line with 15 home runs and 50 RBI in 61 games for Oklahoma City this season, and he'll join the big-league roster while Zach McKinstry (neck) heads to the injured list.

Zach McKinstry - Moves to injured list McKinstry (neck) was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
Impact McKinstry was scratched from Sunday's contest with neck stiffness and was expected to be sidelined for at least a couple more days, and he'll now make his way to the injured list. Jake Lamb had his contract selected in a corresponding move.

Yonathan Daza - On bench, could lose playing time Daza is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Dodgers.
Impact Daza stayed in the lineup for Monday's 4-0 win while lefty Tyler Anderson was on the hill for the Dodgers, but the 28-year-old will be on the bench for the second game of the series, despite Los Angeles bringing another southpaw (Clayton Kershaw) to the mound. The righty-hitting Daza should generally have a decent path to playing time versus lefties, but he'll likely struggle to find work against right-handed pitching now that Kris Bryant is back from the injured list. Moving forward, the Rockies are likely to use Bryant, Charlie Blackmon, Connor Joe and Randal Grichuk as their primary options at the three outfield spots and designated hitter.

Tyler Kinley - Set for season-ending surgery Kinley is scheduled to undergo season-ending surgery in Dallas this week to repair the flexor tendon in his right elbow, Danielle Allentuck of the Denver Gazette reports.
Impact The Rockies were initially fearful that Kinley's elbow injury would require the second Tommy John surgery of his career -- he previously had the operation in 2009 as a senior in high school -- but he'll instead opt for a less intensive arm procedure. According to Thomas Harding of MLB.com, Kinley will still miss the remainder of the season, but because his upcoming procedure entails an 8-to-12-month recovery period, he'll have an outside shot at being available for the start of the 2023 campaign. Before the elbow injury surfaced, Kinley had been the Rockies' top reliever. He'll conclude the campaign with an 0.75 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 27:6 K:BB in 24 innings to go with one win and 10 holds.

Andrew Heaney - Not throwing yet Heaney (shoulder) has yet to resume a throwing program as of Monday, Juan Toribio and Manny Randhawa of MLB.com report.
Impact When Heaney was placed on the 15-day injured list Friday with left shoulder inflammation, manager Dave Roberts expressed hope that the southpaw would miss only two turns through the rotation. The fact that Heaney isn't yet throwing doesn't mean he'll be in line for an extended stay on the IL, but it does lessen his chances of returning in the minimum 15 days. Until Heaney is activated from the IL, Mitch White should have a spot in Los Angeles' rotation.

Mookie Betts - Ready for baseball activities Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Betts (rib) will begin baseball activities Wednesday, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.
Impact The skipper noted Sunday that Betts won't be ready to return from the 10-day injured list by the end of the weekend as originally hoped, but the star outfielder doesn't look as though he'll sidelined much longer beyond that. Based on how Betts responds to baseball activities, Roberts said the 29-year-old may be back within a week to 10 days in a best-case scenario. The 7-to-10-day timeline would make Betts a candidate to come off the IL at some point during the four-game series versus the Cubs that begins July 7, but fantasy managers will likely still want to keep him inactive in weekly leagues. Trayce Thompson is expected to serve as Betts' primary replacement in right field until the five-time All-Star is deemed ready to go.
