Connor Joe - Retreats to bench Joe isn't starting Monday against the Padres, Patrick Lyons of TheDNVR.com reports.

Impact Joe went 1-for-4 with a double and two strikeouts Sunday against the Dodgers but will head to the bench for the second time in the last three matchups. Charlie Blackmon is starting in right field while Yonathan Daza takes over in left.

Kris Bryant - Starting Monday Bryant (foot) is starting Monday's game against the Padres, Patrick Lyons of TheDNVR.com reports.

Impact Bryant exited Sunday's matchup against the Dodgers due to left foot soreness, but he's serving as the designated hitter and batting third during Monday's series opener in San Diego. Over his last six games, he's hit .350 with two doubles, three runs, two walks and five strikeouts.

Impact So far, he's been even better in High-A than Single-A, but that comes with the caveat of a .397 BABIP at the new level. Bernabel has made contact at an excellent rate at both levels while flashing solid pop and stolen-base ability, making him a solid dynasty add in deeper formats.

Blake Treinen - Another sim game on tap Treinen (shoulder) will join the Dodgers on the road in San Francisco and throw a simulated game Wednesday, the Associated Press reports.

Impact The Dodgers kick off a four-game set in San Francisco on Monday, and Treinen is expected to meet the club there before throwing a sim game Wednesday. The righty reliever faced live hitters July 29 for the first time since being placed on the injured list, tossing one inning without experiencing any setbacks. Treinen hasn't pitched in a big-league game since April 14, so he'll likely need an extended rehab stint once he's ready to return to game action.
