Impact Freeman did most of his work in the nightcap, when he padded an already substantial Dodgers lead with a two-run homer in the sixth inning. The superstar first baseman added a double in that contest, his league-leading 58th two-bagger of the campaign. He needs two more doubles to become the first MLB player since 1936 to collect 60 in a campaign. Freeman has complemented the two-bagger bonanza with 27 homers, 98 RBI, 127 runs, 22 stolen bases and a .333/.410/.564 slash line.

James Outman - Tallies four hits Tuesday Outman went 4-for-6 with a pair of runs in Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Rockies.

Impact After going 0-for-4 in a Game 1 loss, Outman bounced back by rapping four singles in the nightcap. It was the rookie's third four-hit game of the campaign and his first multi-hit effort since Aug. 28. Emmet Sheehan - Making another start Wednesday Sheehan is scheduled to start Wednesday's game against the Rockies at Coors Field.

Impact Sheehan will make his second straight turn through the Los Angeles rotation after a brief stint in the bullpen. He turned in a gem his last time out this past Thursday against the Giants, striking out a career-high nine while allowing one earned run on no hits and four walks over 4.2 innings. Though he's pitched well of late, Sheehan hasn't hit five innings in any of his starts or relief appearances in the majors or minors since late July, so the Dodgers may not keep him in Wednesday's game long enough to qualify for a win.
