Left with jaw injury Farmer left Wednesday's game against the White Sox with a jaw injury, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Impact Farmer was struck in the face by a pitch from Lucas Giolito in the bottom of the fourth inning. Willi Castro pinch ran for the 32-year-old and remained in the game in Farmer's absence. He should be considered day-to-day at this point.

Even when Polanco returns, Farmer should still get plenty of playing time each week in a utility role.
