Impact Beck reached on a fielder's choice play in each of his first two trips to the plate, coming around to score a run on each occasion. He then added an RBI single in the bottom of the eighth to give Colorado a 6-5 lead before stealing third and eventually coming home for a third time on a Drew Romo groundout. It was the outfielder's second-straight game with a stolen base while his three runs scored in the contest marked a season high. Impact Beck has gone 5-for-11 with two RBI over three games since he rejoined the Rockies' 26-man roster. More impressively, he got the start and performed well against a right-handed starter (Matt Waldron) in Friday's contest. Beck is at a .222/.237/.333 slash line with two home runs, 10 RBI, five runs scored and two stolen bases over 93 plate appearances in the majors this year. He'll still have to earn an everyday role, but the top prospect looks poised to push Sam Hilliard for playing time in left field.

Recalled by Colorado The Rockies recalled Beck from Triple-A Albuquerque on Monday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Impact Beck was with the Rockies earlier in the season, and he was batting .190 across 81 plate appearances before landing on the injured list in late May after fracturing his left hand while attempting a diving catch in the outfield. He began his rehab assignment in late July and stayed in Triple-A after being reinstated from the IL on Aug. 3. Beck is slashing .319/.402/.558 with eight home runs and 35 RBI across 189 plate appearances for Albuquerque this season, and the 23-year-old will provide depth in the Rockies' outfield after Kris Bryant was placed on the 10-day IL with a back injury.

Activated, optioned to Triple-A The Rockies reinstated Beck (hand) from the 10-day injured list Saturday and optioned him to Triple-A Albuquerque.

Impact A fractured left hand has kept Beck on the shelf since late May, though he's been playing in rehab games since July 23. The 23-year-old is 5-for-25 with two RBI and five runs scored since moving his rehab to Triple-A, and he'll remain with the Isotopes now that he's made a full recovery. He figures to be on the shortlist for a return to Colorado if the Rockies' outfield depth is tested down the stretch, even though he only holds a .514 OPS through 81 MLB plate appearances.

Impact Beck moved to Albuquerque after going 3-for-11 with two run scored across his first three rehab games in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League. The rookie outfielder has been on the shelf since late May after fracturing his left hand and undergoing surgery, so he'll likely remain with Albuquerque for at least a few more game before the Rockies consider activating him from the 10-day injured list. Impact Beck has been a regular starter since being promoted April 30, though it appeared that his playing time would be squeezed with the returns of Kris Bryant and Nolan Jones (back/knee). However, Jones suffered a setback on his rehab assignment and Sean Bouchard was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque to make room for Bryant to be activated. That keeps the door open for Beck to maintain regular playing time, though he has just a .212/.212/.348 line across his first 66 plate appearances in the majors.
