Suffers head injury Berti suffered a laceration to the back of his head that required three stitches, and he was also diagnosed with a concussion Thursday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Impact Berti was hit in the back of the head by an errant pitch from Austin Adams in the seventh inning. He exited the game under his own power but will likely be forced to miss further game action. Joe Panik figures to pick up most of the starts at third base in Berti's absence.
