Impact Woodward noted that he was hoping for King to be activated Friday without first going on a rehab stint, but that proposal was vetoed by the team's medical staff. If King does indeed get a rehab appearance under his belt in the next few days, he seems likely to rejoin the Texas bullpen during the upcoming series in Seattle. The southpaw has been on the injured list since July 9 with inflammation in his throwing shoulder.
