Signs MiLB deal with Rangers The Rangers signed King to a minor-league contract Tuesday, Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com reports.

Impact It's a homecoming of sorts for King, who was drafted by the Rangers and reached the majors with them in 2020. The lefty reliever was released by the Marlins last week after posting a 3.99 ERA and 33:17 K:BB over 49.2 frames. King will provide experienced relief depth at Triple-A Round Rock.
