Dealt to Milwaukee Curtiss was traded from the Marlins to the Brewers on Friday in exchange for Payton Henry, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.

Impact The 28-year-old righty reliever had been excellent for Miami this season, logging a 2.48 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 40 strikeouts in 40 innings. He should work in mid-leverage spots down the stretch for the Brewers.

Impact Curtiss needed just 10 pitches to set down the top of San Diego's lineup in order. He lowered his season ERA to 2.56 with a 40:9 K:BB through 38.2 innings. The 28-year-old righty will move back to the bullpen but could be used as an opener again at some point soon with Trevor Rogers (back) on the injured list.
