Impact Payamps will return to the team ahead of Monday's series-finale against the Guardians after being away from the team for the first three contests. The reliever will look to build off a strong 2021 campaign where he posted a 3.40 ERA and 1.15 WHIP over 37 appearances with the Blue Jays and Royals. Payamps will take the roster spot of Jackson Kowar after he was optioned to Triple-A Omaha on Monday.
