INJURIES
Transferred to 60-day injured list
Hahn (shoulder) was transferred Saturday to the 60-day IL.
Impact
Hahn had appeared ready to return from the injured list and rejoin the Royals' bullpen, but it's unclear what caused this unexpected setback. The reliever can now return from the IL no sooner than June 11.

Not yet activated
Hahn (shoulder) has been returned from his rehab assignment but not activated from the injured list, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.
Impact
There was a previous report from the club that Hahn been reinstsated from the injured list, though that was later corrected. Hahn exited his rehab outing after only one batter Wednesday, and he will now undergo more tests prior to any decision being made about his status.

Reinstated from injured list
Hahn (shoulder) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Thursday.
Impact
Hahn left Wednesday's rehab appearance with a trainer after he faced just one batter, but the issue apparently wasn't serious. The right-hander spent just over a month on the injured list but will now rejoin the Royals' bullpen going forward. Hahn made five relief appearances to begin the season and posted a 13.50 ERA and 2.70 WHIP in 3.1 innings.

Nearing return
Hahn (shoulder) is very close to returning to the Royals, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
Impact
Hahn has made two appearances in his rehab asssignment at Triple-A Omaha, pitching 1.2 scoreless innings with two strikeouts. The righty may not pitch in high-leverage situations immediately upon returning, considering his early-season struggles in such spots, but still figures to have a significant role in the Royals bullpen.

Rehab assignment on tap
Hahn (shoulder) will report to Triple-A Omaha for a rehab assignment Thursday.
Impact
The right-hander has been sidelined since mid-April with a right shoulder impingement, so it's not much of a surprise he'll head to the minors for some reps before being activated from the injured list. Hahn had a tough start to the season with five runs given up over 3.1 innings through five appearances.

Close to throwing live
Hahn (shoulder) is throwing his second bullpen Friday and will throw live his next time out, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
Impact
The reliever last appeared in a game on April 11 before being placed on the injured list the next day. Hahn's early-season struggles, highlighted by a 13.50 ERA and four walks in just 3.1 innings, may have been attributable to the shoulder issue, as he pitched fine while logging one save in his first three appearances before unraveling in his next two.

Throws off mound
Hahn (shoulder) threw off a mound and felt good, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
Impact
This presumably happened Monday or Tuesday. It will be incremental steps with Hahn's recovery, per Lewis, so it sounds like he is still multiple weeks away from returning.
