Transferred to 60-day IL Harvey was transferred to the 60-day injured list with a right triceps strain Tuesday.

Impact Harvey initially landed on the 10-day injured list with a right lat strain in early July, but he's now dealing with a triceps strain. Since he's already been on the injured list for over two months, Tuesday's move to the 60-day IL won't have an impact on his return timetable. Once the 26-year-old is deemed fully healthy, he'll likely remain at Triple-A Norfolk.

Impact Harvey is technically in the midst of a rehab assignment at Norfolk, but the Orioles apparently intend to activate him from the 10-day injured list and option him to the affiliate once his rehab window comes to a close Sept. 18. Though Harvey experienced some soreness in his strained right lat during an Aug. 24 appearance for Norfolk, he was cleared to rejoin the Triple-A bullpen a week later and was roughed up for four runs while recording only two outs. Harvey is believed to be healthy at this point, but he'll need to show improved form over an extended stretch at Triple-A before the Orioles entertain bringing him back to the big club.
