Globe Life Field, Arlington, TX
Adolis García - Ends power outage Garcia went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Astros.
Impact Garcia snapped a seven-game homerless drought when he took Houston starter Framber Valdez deep to right-center field in the sixth inning. Garcia's bat has cooled considerably since his scorching-hot month of May, but he's shown some life in recent days with multi-hit efforts in two straight games and three of his last five. However, he's also struck out nine times in 22 at-bats during that stretch.

Kolby Allard - Toppled by Astros Allard (3-11) gave up five runs on eight hits and three walks over six innings Saturday, taking the loss against Houston. He struck out a pair.
Impact The 24-year-old had opened August with four straight quality starts before running into the highest-scoring offense in the majors Saturday. Yordan Alvarez and Martin Maldonado got things started in the second inning with a solo homer and a two-run single, respectively. Carlos Correa added a solo blast in the third, and Jose Altuve drove in two more with a single in the sixth. Allard has been able to provide the Rangers with length recently, pitching into the sixth in five straight appearances, but it's still come with too many homers (nine in 30.1 innings) and subpar strikeout numbers (16). He'll take a 5.01 ERA and 1.23 WHIP into his next scheduled start.

Carlos Correa - Reaches 20-homer mark Correa went 1-for-5 with a solo home run Saturday against the Rangers.
Impact Correa went yard off Texas starter Kolby Allard in the third inning, depositing one into the left field stands for his 20th homer of the season. It's the fifth time Correa has reached that plateau in his career, and he stands a chance to topple the personal-best 24 homers he hit in 2017. The 26-year-old, who is set to become a free agent following the 2021 campaign, is slashing .275/.370/.479 with 49 extra-base hits and 69 RBI across 516 plate appearances.

Yordan Alvarez - Gets things started Saturday Alvarez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Rangers.
Impact Alvarez opened the scoring in the second inning when he connected on a Kolby Allard offering and turned it around for his 27th homer of the year. Alvarez has now gone deep in five of his last eight contests, upping his season OPS to .888 in 469 plate appearances.

Ryan Pressly - Secures 21st save Pressly struck out a pair and allowed one hit in an inning of work Saturday to record the save against the Rangers.
Impact Pressly worked around a one-out Nick Solak double to notch his 21st save of the year. The veteran right-hander has been rock-solid all season, converting 21 of 23 save opportunities with a 1.87 ERA and 0.91 WHIP over 53 innings. Pressly may be in line for a day off in Sunday's series finale after picking up the save each of the last two nights.

Framber Valdez - Notches another quality start Valdez (9-4) earned the win Saturday against Texas, yielding two runs on three hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out seven.
Impact It was the fourth consecutive quality start for Valdez, who limited the Rangers to a Nick Solak RBI groundout in the fourth inning and an Adolis Garcia solo home run in the sixth. The Garcia blast was the first longball allowed by Valdez since July 18, ending a string of six straight outings in which he was able to keep the ball in the park. Valdez will take a 2.94 ERA and 1.27 WHIP into his next start, tentatively scheduled for next week at San Diego.
