Cristian Javier - Gives up four over six Javier did not factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing four runs on five hits and one walk over six innings against the Pirates. He struck out three.

Impact Javier gave up a pair of homers in the no-decision; a two-run blast to Jack Suwinski in the second and a solo blast to Ji-Man Choi. He also gave up a run on a sac fly in his final frame, and he needed to be bailed out late to not pick up the loss. Javier was impressive against the Tigers on Wednesday with six inning of one-run baseball, but was disappointing in this effort. His chance to rebound is scheduled for Monday against the Blue Jays.

Mitch Keller - Pitches well against Astros Keller did not factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks over six innings against the Astros. He struck out seven.

Impact Keller gave up both of his runs on solo homers. Alex Bregman took him deep in the first inning, and Kyle Tucker connected off the right-hander an inning later. From that point on Keller was outstanding, but he just didn't get the run support necessary to factor into the decision. Over his first three starts Keller now has a 3.57 ERA, 22:8 K:BB and 1.36 WHIP across 17.2 innings of work.

Impact Bae did not start Sunday or Monday, but he'll jump to the top of the Pirates' order Tuesday against Houston right-hander Cristian Javier. The versatile 23-year-old is 7-for-28 (.250) with one home run and two stolen bases through eight games this season.
