Impact Harris got off to a rough start when Kyle Schwarber tagged him for a solo home run in the first inning. Schwarber added an RBI single in the fifth for the other run on Harris' line, but the Athletics' offense couldn't get him off the hook. This was Harris' second good outing in a row -- his last was a seven-inning effort behind an opener, so Sunday marked his first quality start. The 26-year-old owns a 4.45 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 21:10 K:BB through 28.1 innings this season, and he's given up just two homers. He's projected for a road start in Toronto for his next outing.

Strong work Tuesday Harris (2-0) allowed a run on four hits and struck out two over seven innings to earn the win Tuesday over the Rays.

Impact Harris was deployed behind opener Shintaro Fujinami, who pitched a scoreless first inning. Despite the bulk-relief assignment, Harris put in an excellent performance, throwing 63 of 84 pitches for strikes. He became the pitcher of record when Oakland pulled ahead in the eighth inning, and Trevor May converted the save in a 2-1 game. This was the longest outing of Harris' career, and it was also one of his best, though the lack of strikeouts is a little concerning. He has a 4.84 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 14:9 K:BB over 22.1 innings through five outings this season. Harris may continue to work behind an opener in his next appearance, which is tentatively scheduled for a home game versus the Phillies this weekend.

Impact Harris will follow Fujinami for the second time this month after he allowed two runs on five hits while striking out five batters over five innings June 2 in Miami. Impact It wasn't a dominant outing from Harris, but he did enough to earn his first career win after the A's jumped out to a 7-0 lead. After a rough debut in April, Harris has pitched to a 3.00 ERA in three outings (15 innings) since he was recalled from Triple-A. Overall, he sports a 6.46 ERA with a 1.30 WHIP and 12:9 K:BB over 15.1 innings. While the numbers don't jump out, Harris has certainly done enough to maintain a spot in a struggling Oakland rotation. He'd line up for a tough home matchup against the Rays in his next start.

Impact Harris was initially listed as a starter, but he ended up operating as a bulk reliever behind Shintaro Fujinami. The former has put together back-to-back strong outings as a long reliever after being called up at the end of May, but his overall numbers are marred by a horrendous performance in his MLB debut against the Mets in mid-April. As long as Drew Rucinski (illness) Freddy Tarnok (shoulder) and Mason Miller (elbow) remain on the injured list, Harris will presumably continue to eat up innings for Oakland, but it remains to be seen if he'll get a chance as a full-time starter.
