Impact Springer missed Sunday's game against the Mariners after spraining his left ankle Saturday. The outfielder has since began to feel discomfort in his knee, and an MRI revealed a sprain Tuesday. The club did not comment on how long the outfielder is expected to be sidelined, but he'll become eligible to be reinstated Aug. 25. Otto Lopez was called up from Triple-A Buffalo in a corresponding roster move.

Impact He grabbed his left leg/ankle after running into the center field wall while attempting to make a play.
