Impact Owens appeared in two games out of the Tigers' bullpen since being recalled from Triple-A on May 1 and allowed one hit and no walks while striking out one batter over two innings. He'll head back to Triple-A in order to make room on the Tigers' 26-man roster for Beau Brieske (ankle), who was reinstated from the 15-day injured list. Owens should get another chance in the majors this season when Detroit needs to add depth to its bullpen.

Beau Brieske - Activated off IL The Tigers activated Brieske (ankle) from the 15-day injured list Saturday.
Impact Brieske landed on the 15-day IL on April 18 due to right ankle inflammation. He made one rehab outing with High-A West Michigan on Wednesday, when he struck out two batters in a scoreless inning without allowing a hit or walk. To make room on the 26-man roster, the Tigers optioned Tyler Owens to Triple-A Toledo in a corresponding move.

Impact Holton worked the eighth inning with the game tied 1-1, then benefitted from an eight-run explosion by the Tigers in the ninth to earn his second win of the year. Impact Skubal pitched well enough to earn his fourth win of the year, but Detroit didn't score until a single run came across in the seventh inning followed by eight more in the ninth.
