Nasim Nunez - Best offensive production to date Nunez his hitting .282 with a .412 OBP, three home runs and 16 steals in 33 games for Double-A Pensacola.
Impact Known for his plus defense at shortstop and plus-plus speed on the bases, Nunez has been a below league average hitter at every stop except one prior to this season. His 131 wRC+ in 154 plate appearances is easily a career best, and his .097 ISO, .412 OBP and 17.5 percent strikeout rate also represent the best marks of his four-season career. If he can get on base enough to make up for his lack of power, Nunez's defense could earn him everyday playing time, in which case he could steal enough bases to be fantasy relevant.

Paul McIntosh - On IL at Double-A McIntosh is on the 7-day injured list at Double-A Pensacola with an undisclosed injury.
Impact He has not played since May 2 and was officially placed on the IL May 9. McIntosh is old for a Double-A prospect, as he turns 26 in November, but he didn't sign until he was 24, so he was a late entry into pro ball. He has a career .262/.377/.477 slash line with 17 home runs and 10 steals in 103 games at Double-A.

Stuart Fairchild - Filling in for Friedl again Fairchild will start in center field and bat ninth in Monday's game in Colorado.
Impact He had already picked up starts in center in each of the last three games while TJ Friedl (oblique) was viewed as day-to-day, but Fairchild should now have a longer leash as the Reds' primary option at the position after Friedl was placed on the injured list Monday. Fairchild has been much more effective against left-handed pitching (career 112 wRC+) than righties (94 wRC+) over parts of three seasons in the majors, so he could carry some batting-average risk if the Reds end up keeping him in a non-platoon role.

Matt McLain - Batting second in debut McLain is batting second and starting at shortstop for the Reds in his major-league debut Monday in Colorado.
Impact It's an encouraging placement in the lineup for McLain, especially since the Reds are facing a righty in Connor Seabold. The rookie infielder earned a promotion following a .346/.464/.713 slash line with 12 home runs and 10 stolen bases across 168 plate appearances with Triple-A Louisville this season.

Brandon Williamson - Likely to join rotation Williamson has been added to the Reds' taxi squad.
Impact The Reds currently don't have a starter listed for Tuesday's game in Colorado and it looks like that spot could go to Williamson in what would be his major-league debut. The left-hander holds an ugly 6.62 ERA and 27:20 K:BB over 34 innings at Louisville this season, although he pitched well his last two times out in yielding four runs with 11 strikeouts across 11.2 frames. Williamson was a key piece acquired from the Mariners in the Eugenio Suarez/Jesse Winker trade.
