'This is who he is': Andrew Heaney continues to be a revelation as a Dodger Heaney, whose career hit a low point last season, allowed just one hit while striking out 11 over six shutout innings.

Hanser Alberto - Second start coming soon Manager Dave Roberts said he expects to include Alberto in the starting lineup Tuesday against Atlanta, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.
Impact The Dodgers are facing a lefty (Max Fried) on Tuesday, and Roberts feels Alberto and his 113 wRC+ career mark versus southpaws will allow the lineup to remain strong while one of Los Angeles' everyday players -- presumably the lefty-hitting Gavin Lux -- gets a day off. Through Los Angeles' first nine games, Alberto has appeared in only three contests while logging five at-bats in total.

Edwin Ríos - Another start on tap Manager Dave Roberts said he expects to include Rios in the lineup at designated hitter in the Dodgers' series opener Monday versus Atlanta, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.
Impact Roberts didn't specify which member of the Dodgers' star-studded everyday lineup will be sitting Monday, but Max Muncy and Justin Turner have primarily rotated between DH and third base this season, making one of the two the logical candidate to sit. Rios has picked up two starts at DH to date, going 2-for-8 with a run.

Tyler Mahle - Fourth-inning meltdown Mahle (1-1) was handed the loss during Saturday's 9-1 defeat at the hands of the Dodgers, allowing seven runs on seven hits and two walks with five strikeouts in 3.2 innings.
Impact Mahle started strong by facing 10 batters total through the first three innings, but Los Angeles got to him in the fourth with seven runs and eight baserunners before he was pulled. It was a disastrous third start for the 28-year-old, who performed well in his first two starts, though he's now failed to make it past five innings in any appearance. He's currently slated to take the mound against the Cardinals on Saturday for his next start.

Chris Taylor - On base twice, steal Taylor went 1-for-3 with a double, walk, run, two RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's 9-1 victory against the Reds.
Impact Taylor did most of his damage during a seven-run fourth inning, recording a two-RBI double, steal of third and run, while tacking on a walk in the eighth. The utility man is slashing an impressive .333/.382/.500 in the early going with two thefts, putting Taylor on pace to reach double digits for the third time.

Freddie Freeman - Four hits, drives in three Freeman went 4-for-5 with a run and three RBI in a 9-1 win against the Reds on Sunday.
Impact After striking out in the first inning, Freeman responded with singles in the fourth, sixth and eighth inning, with his two knocks in the fourth contributing heavily to a seven-run inning. This is the prized free agent's first signature performance with his new team, though it would've been encouraging to see one of those hits go for extra bases. Freeman is now batting an impressive .324 but is slugging just .401 due to all three of his extra base hits being doubles.
