Impact He will take the ball Friday as Hunter Greene moves back a day to receive a little extra rest. Kennedy had also been a candidate to start the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Angels, but those duties presumably will fall to Lyon Richardson now. The 29-year-old Kennedy tossed five shutout innings versus the Blue Jays in a spot start last week.

Hunter Greene - Gets extra day of rest Greene will get an extra day of rest before his next start, which will come Saturday in Arizona, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
Impact Greene wasn't sharp in his first start back from the injured list Sunday versus the Blue Jays, allowing nine runs (eight earned) in three-plus innings, so a little extra rest couldn't hurt. Brett Kennedy will start Friday in Greene's old spot.

Impact India, who said he feels no pain in the foot, took batting practice prior to Tuesday's game against the Angels. "We'll see how I feel running and go from there," India said. "I feel good. All I can do is go based off of how I feel." The second baseman was shut down less than two weeks ago after a setback in the initial stages of rehab. The positive news suggests India can return sometime around the beginning of September, if he remains pain free and whether a minor league rehab assignment is required. Neither the player nor the team are setting a timeline.
