Owen Miller - Cracks Opening Day roster Miller has been informed that he's made the Brewers' Opening Day roster, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact It came down to Miller and Joey Wiemer for the final position player roster spot with the Brew Crew. Miller already being on the 40-man roster likely played a part in the decision, although he also earned it this spring with a .916 OPS and added versatility in showing he can handle center field. The 26-year-old should get some starts against lefties.

Joey Wiemer - Falls short of Opening Day roster Wiemer was reassigned to minor-league camp by the Brewers on Monday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact Wiemer seemed to have some recent momentum in regards to his chances of making the Opening Day roster, but ultimately he came up short with Owen Miller getting the final position player spot. While he will go down to Triple-A Nashville for now, Wiemer has set himself up along with Sal Frelick to be considered for a promotion if an outfielder is needed.
