Impact Brantley has already missed a full week with a sore knee, but the Astros waited several days to place him on the injured list, so he isn't eligible to return until Wednesday. Whether or not he'll have a chance to do so is not yet clear.

Tyler Ivey - Begins rehab assignment Ivey (elbow) began a rehab assignment for the Astros' FCL affiliate Saturday, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Impact Ivey made his major-league debut in late May but has been shut down with a nerve issue in his elbow ever since that appearance. He's unlikely to be fully built up by the end of the season, but it's certainly a positive that he's able to pitch in some capacity.

Brandon Bielak - Sent to minors Bielak was optioned to Triple-A Sugar Land on Saturday, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Impact Bielak would likely have been unavailable for a few days after he was called upon to throw 2.2 innings in a spot start Friday. The Astros elected to swap him out for a fresh arm, calling up Peter Solomon to take his place.

Peter Solomon - Recalled by Astros Solomon was recalled by the Astros on Saturday, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Impact Solomon has thrown three scoreless innings at the major-league level this season, the last of which came back in early July. He owns a 4.70 ERA in 97.2 innings for Triple-A Sugar Land. Brandon Bielak was optioned to clear space for Solomon on the roster.

Luis Frías - Headed to Arizona Frias was recalled from Triple-A Reno on Saturday.
Impact Frias was promoted from Double-A Amarillo to Triple-A Reno on Aug. 16. Since, he's posted a 5.82 ERA and 1.75 WHIP while walking 16 hitters across 21.1 frames and five starts with Reno. While it's unclear when Frias will first take a major-league mound, it's likely that he'll draw a start in the coming days.
